Tahja E. Lauderdale is a skilled project manager and people leader with over 10 years of leadership, brand management, strategic planning, and event production experience, providing effective strategies, measurable results, and real-time issue resolution and crisis mitigation. Tahja currently serves as the Account Manager for PMM Agency, a full service, award winning marketing and brand strategies firm headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. Here, Tahja oversees the strategic vision and roadmap of brand activation's, campaign executions, new consumer acquisition and large scale events for Fortune 50 and 100 corporations including Nationwide, Toyota, L. Brands, Walmart, FedEx, Unilever/Shea Moisture, ViacomCBS/BET, the City of Columbus, State of Ohio, and more.

As Account Manager, Tahja leads a cross-function team across multiple agency divisions and projects executing brand/client partnerships in the areas of logistics planning, event production and fiduciary management, and sponsorship management, acquisition, renewal and contract negotiations. Notable partnerships include the BET Awards, Essence Music Festival, National Urban League, Executive Leadership Council, Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association and Black Enterprise.


Mission-driven and passion-led, Tahja serves as the Executive Director and Chief Brand Manager for the Direction Up Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to the empowerment of youth through athletics and mentorship. As the organization co-founder, Tahja oversees all brand operations, communication channels, digital strategy, public appearance and operations among internal and external audiences. Additionally, Tahja manages the organizational fiscal planning and strategic partnerships, while also leading the coordination of Direction Up signature events including the annual basketball camp and 5k run.

A lifetime sports enthusiast, Tahja is the head 8th (formerly 7th grade) coach for the Columbus Academy Girls Vikings team. Affectionately known as "Coach TL", she leads the on-court coaching and development of academically qualified student athletes, facilitating all training and practice sessions. In 2019 "Coach TL" led the Vikings to a regional championship, with the team becoming the 2019 Middle School 7th Grade MSL League Champions.

Tahja is a Who's Who in Black Columbus honoree and a member of the YWCA-Columbus marketing committee. Tahja received a Bachelor of Science in Technology from Bowling Green State University with a minor in Computer Science.
